Vintage Bird Place Cards

Found these place cards on Listia & had to have them! I love the tiny painted shells made to look like birds & flowers. Not really sure what I'll ever do with them but for now I'll use them to spark my creativity. I added the names of my grandma's & mom with a photo editor to make the cards look even more lovely.

Sad to see summer end but guess I'm excited for fall & watching the leaves change. I walk everywhere & am always stopping to take pictures of nature so here's some I've snapped over the last few months.

             

                               

Oregon Garden!

My boyfriend had to cut his skate trip short after injuring himself trying to skate off a diving board into an empty pool (not too smart),so out of complete boredom he joined me to the Oregon Gardens in Silverton. It was a fun day & a good work out pushing him around. He is just about all healed up thankfully!

        

Festival of Flowers

Had a nice day in the sun at Pioneer Squares Festival of Flowers,this years theme was Tattoo Portland.

Nail Tip Tuesday: Rose Buds

                                  Step 1: With a hot pink paint make a few dots.
                              Step 2:  For leaves add two small dots of green paint.
                         Step 3:  Use a light pink to paint a little swirl on top of the hot pink dot.

Spring Cherry Blossoms!

Spring is coming which means cherry blossom trees in bloom all over Portland! I can't wait to walk around & take more pictures of it all. Here are some I took my 1st spring here outside of my downtown apartment.
